The Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association (AİJA) held a regular meeting to discuss the organization's short- and long-term activities through 2026.

The meeting's chair, Eldar Ismayilov, President of the organization, emphasized that the past year was significant for the country's journalism: the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Press and the 30th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association. He informed the meeting participants about the projects and activities implemented by the ASJA in connection with these significant events.

Meeting participants delivered speeches and made proposals for future activities.

Then, by unanimous vote of the Executive Committee members, Khanoglan Imanov, one of Azerbaijan's renowned sports journalists, Sportinfo.az correspondent, and Sportinfo TV presenter, was elected Chairman of the AİJA Football Commission.

At the end, a group of AIPS members were presented with membership cards of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), and the meeting concluded with a family photo.
